“I can save money if I do not hire a Realtor to help me with my home purchase.” Wrong, here are the facts:
Buyers do not pay the Realtor commissions and at Custom Select we also do not charge any broker administration fees, therefore using the professional services of a Realtor is completely free. When a seller lists their home with a Realtor they contractually agree to pay the listing agent and the buyer’s agent a commission. So if you buy a home without a Realtor, then the listing agent gets paid twice and you may get zero representation. I am sure you would never go to court without the representation of a lawyer. Likewise, do not make the mistake of going to the negotiating table without the expertise of a Realtor; otherwise just like entering a court room without a lawyer, you lose.
